What we handle

Engagements are scoped month to month or as a fixed project, priced around the complexity of your books, not a flat retainer.

001

Fractional CFO advisory

In-house

Cash flow forecasting, budget-to-actual review, board and investor reporting, and strategic planning on a part-time basis.

002

Reporting & KPI dashboards

In-house

Custom-built dashboards and queries, not templated reports, tracking margin, cash runway, and the numbers that actually drive your decisions.

003

Software & ERP integration

In-house

Connecting external tools and data sources into QuickBooks Online and other ERP systems, so your reporting pulls from one clean source of truth.

004

Compensation design

In-house

Compensation and bonus structures, commission plans, and employment agreements that hold up as the team grows.

005

Bookkeeping & accounting

In-house

Monthly reconciliation, chart of accounts cleanup, accrual-basis close, and financial statements you can actually read.

006

Payroll administration

In-house

Payroll setup, processing, and tax withholding, run and overseen directly as part of your engagement.

007

AP & treasury management

In-house

Accounts payable processing and cash management support, handled directly and reviewed as part of your reporting.

008

Tax planning & compliance

Via partner network

Entity structure review, quarterly estimates, and filings, delivered through our partner network and reviewed and signed off by our in-house CPA before anything is finalized.

Process

How an engagement starts

Four steps from first call to your first close with us.

01

Intake

Share your current books, tools, and what's prompting the search.

02

Books review

We assess your chart of accounts, reconciliation state, and reporting gaps.

03

Proposal

A scoped engagement plan with clear deliverables and pricing.

04

Onboarding

We connect your systems, set the reporting cadence, and schedule your first close.

Fit

Who we work with

Most clients land at one of three stages. Where are you today?

01

No finance function yet

You're running the business on spreadsheets and bank logins, and the books need a real foundation before anything else can be built on top.

02

Outgrowing a bookkeeper

The basics are covered but you need forecasting, KPI reporting, and someone thinking strategically about the business, not just recording it.

03

Preparing for a raise, sale, or scale

You need clean, defensible financials and modeling ahead of a transaction, a fundraise, or a stretch of fast growth.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you work with my existing bookkeeper or CPA+
Yes. We often work alongside an existing bookkeeper or CPA rather than replacing them, and coordinate directly so nothing falls through the cracks.
What's the minimum engagement length+
Most engagements run month to month after an initial books review. We'll flag upfront if your situation needs a longer minimum commitment.
What software do you work in+
Primarily QuickBooks Online, along with integrating the other tools your business already runs on so your reporting pulls from one source of truth.
Are you a CPA, or do you prepare taxes directly+
Tax preparation and filing is handled through our partner network, and everything is reviewed and signed off by our in-house CPA before it's finalized.
Do you work with businesses outside Georgia+
Yes. We're based in Atlanta but work with clients remotely nationwide.
About

A finance partner, not a vendor

Background
VP finance, startup + enterprise
Technical depth
SQL & dashboard engineering
Based in
Atlanta, Georgia

KT Financial Partners is built for businesses that have outgrown a spreadsheet but aren't ready for a full-time controller.

Our background spans both ends of that gap: enterprise finance work inside a billion-dollar company, and a VP-level finance role at a startup building the function from the ground up. That combination means we've sat on both sides of the table, in the room for board-level strategy and in the weeds of the reconciliation.

The technical side runs deep too. Our reporting isn't templated; it's built the way analytics teams build it, with custom SQL and dashboards designed around what actually drives your business, not a generic KPI list.

Every engagement starts with a review of your current books and reporting, so the plan we propose is built around where you are, not a generic package.
